Invitation to June 18 tea event

Theme: 100 years of Formosa Oolong tea, an event that is part of Taiwan's Centennial celebration.

When: June 18, 2011, starting at 10 AM

Where: the second floor of Wang Yo Ji's tea house at No 26, Lane 64, Chung Ching Rd, Sec 2, Taipei City.

This public event is free of charge. (Update 1: To have a seat, there is reservation list. I will try to find out where to apply and keep you informed).

My part in this event: I will make a short presentation about France's tea history and then I will perform this Cha Xi inspired by the 20s and Art Nouveau. (I start at 10 AM and finish at 11 AM.)

Other speakers will follow. There will even be some traditional Nankuan music in the afternoon. And the room will feature an old tea packaging exhibition.

Update 2: My presentation and Cha Xi has been moved to June 20, 1:30 to 2:30 PM. However, I will still also attend the event on June 18.

Another announcement: I will be in France from July 12 to August 10, 2011. During that time, I will interrupt the processing of your tea orders.
